Fantasy Monster Generator

Fantasy Monster Generator is a tool for the Referee/GM looking to come up with a new monster to drop into their fantasy advenure game. This tool automaticly generates a stat block, special abilities, and description of the creature.

This is a generic tool for all fantasy games but the statistics are generated and compatible with "Basic Fantasy" and most other OSR titles, it assumes an ascending Armor Class.

This tool creates animals, monsters, and sentient races. There's a "generate monster" button and each time you click it, it will create a new creature and you can just keep clicking until you get a monster you like. As it runs in your internet browser you can then print the monster's details in order to keep a permanent copy.

This tool runs in your internet browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and does not require an internet connection. Simply double-click the file (or drag the file onto your browser) and it will open in your browser and be instantly ready to use.

See the video to see it in action, purchase it from DriveThruRPG

Fantasy Scenario Generator

Fantasy Scenario Generator is a tool for the Referee/DM looking to come up with a new mission based scenario. Using a mind-map linking system it presents a plot, a sub plot, an NPC, environment details, and a town, that will excite your imagination into laying out a new plot.

This tool is generic tool for all fantasy game runners. Watch the video below to see how it works.

Legendary: The Princess Bride

The Princess Bride is a rare and precious film, one that combines action, adventure, romance and humour into an epic tale of love lost, found, and fought for. A cult classic. (Buy the film it's awesome!)

The Legendary Encounters system is a fantastic set of board game mechanisms that allow the developers to produce thematic cards games that evince the feel of the stories they tell in a marvelous way. (Check out "Legendary Encounters: Alien" and "Legendary Encounters: Predator", they're as awesome as the films they're based on!)

So here I present a combination of these two fantastic flavours! The Princess Bride transformed into board game form!

Here are a few cards from the game to give you a feel for what the game looks like :)

This game is a fan-work given away for free to all who want it. It is designed for either 1 or 3 players, although you might try 2 but I make no promises about that. You can download the files and print them yourself or use some independent print service. The game consists of a 10 page rule book, a board, and 218 cards. You can print everything in black and white or full colour, as you wish.

Download and enjoy :)

Download the Print and Play package  (if the direct link doesn't work try this )

Update! Following demand, I have combined the cards images into PDFs to aid printing at home.

Download the card PDFs

New Update : This replaces the previous packages. It includes a small addition to the rules, and five cards have been updated and these changes are necessary fixes! The following cards have been updated. 001, 003, 041, 043, 090

Download v1.1 or if that doesn't work, you can visit the download page here.

Edit: I've uploaded the cards to a series of 4 decks that you can purchase via  ArtsCow.com , you'll need to order 1 copy of each of each. (I've carefully looked over these decks but I haven't ordered them myself to proof check them).

A Party of Wizards

I've just released a little RPG/story-telling game. In this game all the PCs are brand new wizards kicked out of the wizard school with an empty spell book and a basic understanding of magic. The main feature of this game is the generation of your own spells. There is no long list of spells to pick from, but instead there is a mechanism for creating your own spells!

So you take, quill, ink, spell-book, and dagger and wander into the wild world to discover and create your own spells as you battle the forces of evil (or good if your PCs are evil, you know, a lot of wizards seem to go evil, maybe it's the magic that does it).

Anyway, if you fancy giving it a try, you can get it from DriveThru for a buck-fifty.

Dwarven Vengeance - a gamebook

My gamebook "Dwarven Vengeance" is now available to buy via LuLu.  This is a game book where you choose which path to follow and which fights to have. It's a classic "turn to page" style game book with 401 entries. It differs from some of the classic gamebooks in that it doesn't have any of the lame endings where you just die. Instead there is always a chance to win through, a small chance true, but then you pick your own fights!  So onto the back cover blurb...

You've lost your home, your family and your future.

When you woke to find a dragon smashing through the gates of the underholm and goblins swarming in the corridors your first thoughts were of survival.

Then the anger came, and the thirst for revenge and the need to get your home back.

So starts the quest to find the Dragonbane, a mystical item that is your only hope to defeat the dragon.

Buy the book at LuLu.com ...and here's a little promo
