A Judge Dredd scenario - Paint the Town Yellow

Here's another one-shot scenario I've whipped up for using FATE Core in the Judge Dredd universe. I've play tested it with three Judges and thing went very well (we only played for about 2 1/2 hours could have done with a full 3).

In this scenario a evil electrical genius with a grudge against the Judges, baits them and draws them into his underground palace of death traps. Judges will have to do some investigation and fight a series of gang bangers, all while being distracted by random street crimes.

Download the scenario, and let me know how your play through goes. :)

Here's a session report.

A DUNE scenario - Revenge Tastes like Dust

DUNE is such a classic setting and it really hasn't been done justice in the world of RPGs, so when I decided I wanted to play a game down in the sand, it was a case of making my own...sort of. I used the FATE core rules to run a very enjoyable one-shot and the link below takes you to the scenario I played. This is a blood and water scenario, not a high brow political adventure. Sharpen your knives, and go liberate some water!

A Judge Dredd scenario - It Aint Christmas

Here's another scenario for playing an RPG in the world of Judge Dredd. The title of it comes from
the latest craze to sweep through Mega City One, "Sledding", where citizens climb onto wheeled sleds and zoom down the outside of the blocks and right into trouble. I've played this successfully with three Judges using the FATE system. The scenario itself is about as generic as they come so will fit whatever system you're using for Judge Dredd.

A Judge Dredd Scenario - Hospital Corners

"Hospital Corners" is a system-generic scenario for use in playing a role playing session in the universe of Judge Dredd. It's designed with a single session in mind, but with a few incidents along the way that can be dropped in to extend the session if you want.

I wrote this scenario for a game of FATE but it has no stats or figures, so it can be used in whatever system you're using to Judge Dredd.

It's a minor investigation type scenario with a planned battle towards the end. The drop-ins already mentioned can be used to spice up the mid game of things start to lag.

It's free, so why not have a read :) Download the scenario

3:16 Carnage Amongst the Stars, for Halloween

I recently entered a scenario writing competition on RPG-Geek, where the restrictions meant  it had to be centered around Halloween, only a few pages longs with black and white art.

Well of course, I wrote a scenario for my current favorite RPG 3:16 Carnage Amongst the Stars, following the design I used in my 3:16 campaign "Death Bringers".

Voting is still open (at time of writing) if you feel like adding in your votes!

Here's the scenario, only two pages in black and white should you want to print it out.

Scenario - Memoir '44 - Defence of Calais

This is a scenario for the excellent Days of Wonder boardgame Memoir 44.

What has become known as the "Dunkirk campaign" was not merely a retreat and defence at Dunkirk. It was in fact a series of defences of coastal ports. One of the important defensive actions was that in Calais. Many British troops were evacuated from the docks while other staunch defenders both British and French held back the Axis Forces.

Scenario - Valor & Victory - Messenger Ambush

This is a scenario for the excellent and free war game Valor and Victory.

A German patrol is returning to the village with information that must be transmitted to Battalion HQ, the patrol must reach the radio set up in the village. Little do the Germans realise, that a U.S. Ambush has been set up within the perimeter of the village itself. This is a very small scenario for learning puposes.

Scenario - Memoir '44 - Battle of the Five Armies

This is a scenario for the excellent Days of Wonder boardgame Memoir 44.

Although Memoir 44 is a serious game about combat during WWII, I decided to merge fantasy and history in this scenario.

The Battle of the Five Armies is the large Battle fought at the end of the fantasy book "The Hobbit" written J.R.R. Tolkien. This Memoir '44 scenario pays honour to that novel by presenting a 5 medal battle based on the terrain described in the book.

The scenario is written up as a PDF and stored on my Sky Drive
