Flash Arghhhhh!

"Flash Arghhhhh!" is a collaborative story telling game where you and you friends work together to tell an exciting story, just like those of the 1938 Flash Gordon series. Every player takes a part in the story, playing (of course) Flash, Dale , Zarkov and their many bizarre-hat-wearing friends.

Fly to Mongo, defeat Ming then battle your way to Earth just in time to defeat the Giant Rabbit attack! But there won't be any time to rest as Flash is going to rush off into adventure leaving everyone grinding their teeth and grunting out "Arghhhhh!"

All characters have attributes designed to add excitement and twists into the story with sessions structured to follow the classic Saturday morning shows, including the cliff-hanger!

All this in just 8 tiny pages. This game is designed for the PocketMod format, print the game on a single sheet of paper, make a single cut, and fold into a little booklet giving you an RPG in your pocket!  A full size PDF is included as well, just in case you don't dig the PocketMod format

Adaman

There is deck of cards called the "Decktet" which was invented by P.D. Magnus.  It's an unusal deck of cards, not only does it have a great art but each card may have more than one suit! There are any number of games that can be played with the Decktet, one of which is called "Adaman". Adaman was likewise invented by P.D. Magnus.

It's a challenging solo game and peaked my interest enough for me to create a version of it you can play in your browser.

Defend the Block

"Aint no alien muvver goin to invade ma block. I gona kill it! Back me boys." A micro RPG set in a north London residential block during an alien invasion. This liitle game is designed to be printed and folded into a little booklet (called a PocketMod) that fits in your top pocket. 3:16 Carnage Amongst the Stars, for Halloween

I recently entered a scenario writing competition on RPG-Geek, where the restrictions meant  it had to be centered around Halloween, only a few pages longs with black and white art.

Well of course, I wrote a scenario for my current favorite RPG 3:16 Carnage Amongst the Stars, following the design I used in my 3:16 campaign "Death Bringers".

In the far-out and dusty wild of America's heartlands two biker gangs meet for their annual drink-athon, things can get busy.

With alcohol fuelling forty ageing toughnut egos the atmosphere is often tense. Sometimes a punch will be thrown. Sometimes the punch actually hit. Sometimes others become involved and sometimes... well, lets leave those times behind a curtain of secrecy.

More often, claims of "I'm stronger than you" may cause more alcohol to be imbibed before arm wrestling starts. Sometimes someone makes a jovial remark about being tougher, braver and generally more manly than someone else, and two beers later people start doing...stupid things.

Brigand's Nest

TRENCH Full of Heroes
